St. Michaels Police Officer Jason Adams Serves as Character Coach at St. Michaels Middle High School

K-9 Officer Jason Adams brought his partner Max to school to meet the middle school students.  Officer Adams shared with the students the responsibilities of being a K-9 handler and how both officer and animal must work together as a team.


Each year Character Counts Mid Shore awards three $1000 A. James Clark Character Counts Citizenship Scholarships to high school graduating seniors in Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester Counties.  The scholarship is based on quality of community service.  For more information, call CCMS at 410-819-0396.

Character Counts Mid Shore, Inc. is sponsoring the 9th annual Six Pillars Century cycling fundraiser on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge near Cambridge, MD. The cycling event will include four ride choices, including a 37-mile fun and fitness ride, a 56-mile Ironman Eagleman 70.3 Course, and a 100-mile Century Course.  Click here for more info!
